Put the top and bottom together and begin to sew together. Leave the tip of the bottom unsewn, so it looks like he has his mouth open. Also if you look at the picture below, you will notice that his beak begins wide, then becomes thinner and then widens out again. To do this, when you have finished sewing the pieces together, run a couple of stitches thru this area and tighten until you get the desired effect. Sew to heads.

Row 2-3: sc across, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 4: dec over next 2 (1)
FO

Fold each toe in half lengthwise and sew edge closed. The two large toes are sewn to the front of the leg in a 'V-shape' (the magic circle end). The small toes are shown behind the larger toes. Twist together two more pipe cleaners and insert into leg, leaving a little sticking out. Repeat for second leg. Position legs and secure. I wasn't able to get my Doduo to stand, maybe you will have more luck with yours.

Finish: Cut 8 small triangles out of white felt for claws and glue to toes. Cut two small black circles out of felt for eyes and two smaller circles out of white for highlights. glue together and then to face.

And just for fun..........
